05: Living in the Moment

In this week’s issue: the importance of living in the moment, anti-ageing drugs for dogs and scoops more.

Another week has flown by, i'm back again with another issue of Sunday Scoop. How has your week been? I hope it went well.

So, this week has been pretty exciting. I joined the #tweet100 campaign on Twitter, which encourages me to share a tweet every day for 100 days. And I've stuck to it so far, and it feels really good.

I'm a newbie with Twitter, I never really understood it when it first launched but since I'm writing more these days, it felt like the right time for me to give it another go. I want to use Twitter as an extension of Furrimals, create awareness of Furrimals and build a community of dog dads.

Since joining Twitter I've followed other like-minded folks and found tons of great dog content to engage with, it's a wonderful tool for dog dads who like to read or watch what's happening in the moment.

Here's my snippet of advice for this week: no matter how tough or challenging your week may be, always remember to live in the moment with your doggo. Embrace it, and share it with the world – after all, your dog is your best bud, right?

Follow @furrimalsHQ to discover what's happening in Luna's world, daily.

That's all for this week, folks.

See you next week!

Anti-ageing drug for dogs

I came across this news article which claims a research team is investigating whether a drug can produce anti-ageing effects in our dogs. I mean who wouldn't want their dog to live years longer?! If this is successful - although controversial - could be a game changer.

"In the current study, researchers speculate that the low doses of rapamycin may increase the lifespan of dogs by up to three years." – Matt Kaeberlein, PhD

So many bad tweets. These are the good ones. Follow @furrimalsHQ on Twitter for extra content.
